Privacy Policy

This policy explains what StatCFB collects, why we use it, how it is disclosed, and the choices available to you.

Effective August 31, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how StatCFB (“StatCFB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, analytics, simulated competitions, and related services. StatCFB is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. This Policy does not govern a third-party website or service that has its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect information from you, from authentication providers you use, and automatically when you interact with StatCFB.

  • Account and identity information, such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, sign-in status, username, account role, and access tier.
  • Content and activity information, such as saved cards, virtual picks and positions, competition groups, preferences, watch activity, and related history.
  • Communications, including support requests, feedback, policy requests, and information you choose to provide in them.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, request and security logs, error records, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate location inferred from network information.
  • Subscription and transaction information if paid features are offered. Payment-card details, if required, will be collected by a payment processor rather than stored directly by StatCFB unless we tell you otherwise.

How we use information

We use personal information for the following business and operational purposes:

  • Authenticate users; administer accounts, roles, and access; and provide requested analytics, model, market, pick'em, profile, and simulated-competition features.
  • Save preferences and activity, calculate and display competition results, maintain leaderboards and shared groups, and provide customer support.
  • Secure the service, enforce access controls and our Terms, prevent and investigate abuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain audit and operational records.
  • Measure aggregate traffic and product performance, develop and improve features, test changes, and understand whether the service is reliable and useful.
  • Send administrative, security, account, support, and material policy communications.
  • Comply with law, protect rights and safety, resolve disputes, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: Clerk supports authentication, Google provides the sign-in connection, Cloudflare provides web analytics and security-related infrastructure, and hosting, database, logging, backup, email, support, and payment providers may process information for us when those services are used.
  • Features you choose: your username, group activity, leaderboard placement, and competition results may be visible to other users when you participate in public or shared features.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security and integrity of the service.
  • Business transactions: information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
  • At your direction or with your consent.

Third-party services and links

StatCFB displays sports and market information and may link to services such as CollegeFootballData.com, Kalshi, or Polymarket US. Merely viewing information in StatCFB does not create an account with those services. If you follow a link, connect an account, or separately use a third-party service, that provider's privacy policy governs its collection and use of your information.

Google and Clerk process information used for sign-in under their own privacy terms as well as their agreements with us. You can review and manage some connected-account permissions through the applicable provider.

Cookies, analytics, and privacy signals

StatCFB and its authentication and infrastructure providers use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, maintain sessions, protect the service, remember settings, and measure page-level performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured as privacy-oriented analytics and is not used by us to build advertising profiles.

StatCFB does not use personal information for targeted advertising or sell it, so browser signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control do not change those practices. If our practices change or applicable law requires a different response, we will update this Policy and our technical controls before using information for that purpose. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention depends on the type of information, the feature involved, account status, security and dispute needs, backup cycles, and legal obligations.

Account and profile information is generally retained while an account is active and for a limited period afterward to process a deletion request, prevent abuse, or permit account recovery. Saved activity and competition records may be retained while needed to provide history, maintain leaderboard and group integrity, resolve scoring disputes, and prevent fraud. Security, access, and error logs are retained for shorter operational periods unless an incident, legal requirement, or investigation requires longer retention. Backups are deleted or overwritten on their normal rotation schedule.

We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you. We may also retain specific records when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, restricted production credentials, logging, backups, and service-provider controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in account and should contact us promptly if you believe your StatCFB access has been compromised.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may sign out, stop using StatCFB, update certain profile information in the service, or disconnect permissions through your authentication provider. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account by contacting us at support@statiqlabs.com.

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may also have the right to receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, or appeal our response to a request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Some information may remain in limited-access backups until overwritten or may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or the integrity of shared competition records. If we deny a request in whole or in part, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process when required by law.

Children

StatCFB is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including restricting access and deleting information when required.

International processing

StatCFB is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your location. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the service, our practices, or law changes. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Material changes apply prospectively.
